The farm

The reference point for the estate. If you want to know what Ngacha tastes like before process, this is the lot.

Black currant is the classic Kirinyaga marker and it is unmistakable here, held up by an acidity that stays structured as the cup cools.

We roast it light and keep it on filter.

The process

Washed

Classic Kenyan double wash: overnight dry fermentation, a full soak in clean mountain water, then graded on the channel before it reaches the beds.
